Epic Candle burn time (with optimal usage) 500-700 hours. Epic Legendary burn time (with optimal usage) 700-1000 hours. We have rigourously tested our candles and provide estimates for burn time, however each individual candle will vary. Burn times vary based on how long the candle is allowed to burn, how frequently it is burned, whether wicks are trimmed to the recommended length, and the type of fragrance chosen. For best results please follow burn directions carefully (see Blog post "Candle burning tips", which will improve your candle's longevity.

Yes all our candles are made in our Melbourne workshop by hand. Our workshop is run on solar power.

No we never use petroleum based waxes (such as paraffin) in our candles. We only use plant based soy or coco-soy wax.

It is perfectly normal for plant-based wax to have irregular tops when cooled. This will not impact the performance of the candle when re-lit.

We recommend burning your candle for AT LEAST 5 hours the first time you burn it and 4-5 hours for future burns. This will ensure an even wax pool so that tunneling does not occur. It's OK if once or twice you do short burns, just try to "catch up" the next time you burn it by allowing it to burn longer and melting the outside edges.

Since our candles are hand-built to order, they will take approximately 3-4 business days to be dispatched. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require a rush order. Email info@sealightcandles.com.au. We will do our best to expedite!

Make sure to not ever burn a broken candle. Please email info@sealightcandles.com.au and we will replace it.

We offer local pickup from our Melbourne (Hampton) workshop. You will receive an email when your candle is ready for pickup.

Unfortunately, we do not offer refills. We suggest re-purposing your Epic Vase and lid i.e. flower vase, storage container.
